MARKINGS
The unique Disctroyer design is inspired by the core elements of 30s aviation industry, which built its models to be clearly distinguished over long distances. For example, if you spot in a distance white disk with yellow pentagon at its center, you can easily recognize the overstable Distance Driver disc.
* The trajectories of the discs shown in the pictures are based on the throws of the right hand player
The Disctroyer series of discs are designed and equipped with clear and logical markings to give you a quick and far-reaching insight into the disc's basic flight characteristics. This is especially useful for beginners.
STRAIGHT
stable disc
The circle markings indicate that the disc will fly more straight at the final phase of its flight.
RIGHT
understable disc
The cross marking indicate that the disc flies to the right at the final phase of its flight.
LEFT
overstable disc
The pentagon symbol indicates that the disk will fly to the left during the final phase of its flight.
SPEED
1 to 14
The ability of the disk to so-called 'cut' the air. The higher the number, the faster the disc and greater ability to reach longer distances. Faster disc performs better in headwinds, slower disk is generally more accurate. For beginners we recommend discs with a lower speed index.
GLIDE
1 to 7
The ability of the disc to stay in the air. Higher the number, better the glide . For beginners, we recommend discs with a higher glide index.
TURN
1 to -5
The ability of the disc to tilt to the right at the beginning of its flight. The number 0 indicates that the disc's flight should be as straight as possible, and the lower the number, the greater the turn to the right. For beginners we recommend using discs with a lower TURN.
FADE
0 to 5
The ability of the disc to tilt to the left in the final phase of its flight. 0 indicates the discs flight to be as straight as possible, and the rising number indicates greater turn left in the final phase of the flight. For beginners, we recommend using discs with a lower fade index.
